My design for the Bethel Woods shows. I’ve always loved drawing trees, and it seemed fitting for this venue. The original painting was ink, watercolor, and gouache paint. Hometown show! These tickets were inspired by the song “Slave to the Traffic Light”, which is fitting since the Mann is near the Philadelphia zoo and the amazing view of the city skyline from the venue. And of course, there’s that Philly traffic, which anyone attending the shows got to experience on the way to the venue. This design is actually a throwback to my very first Mann print which was spray paint and stencils on braille paper. I don’t think any sold on lot, only sold 1 in my shop and ended up wheat pasting most of the ones I had left around Philly. When the opportunity for some Mann phan art arose, I knew I had to revisit this design. The original painting was ink, watercolor, and gouache paint. My ticket design for the Bangor show in Maine. This is one of the few that wasn’t inspired by a song. I heard lobsters are sort of a big deal in Maine so I went for it!
