arctic splash – Not just reading the book,

My commemorative ticket stubs for Phish’s three-day run at the United Center in Chicago, IL. The artwork used was several ink and watercolor illustrations I created. I inadvertently continued the food theme from the Philly stubs, and had this idea years ago for a tour poster series, right around 2020! I was finally able to use those ideas for these stubs. Night one has the Bean (actual name Wind Gate) in a Chicago-style hot dog. Night two has the Marina City towers replaced with Old Style tall boys, and night three presents the United Center as a deep dish pizza.

Each stub measures 2.75 x 6.5 inches (the same size as PTBM tickets) and is printed on coated 130 lb card stock by Fireball Printing in Philadelphia. The back features a spot to write down your actual seat/section. I will also include a mini art print/postcard with each order, along with other freebies while supplies last. My commemorative ticket stubs for Phish’s 2-night run (and hometown show) at the TD Pavilion at the Mann in Philly, PA. The artwork used was an ink and watercolor illustration I created. I was inspired by the snacks that are uniquely Philly. Night one features a Philly-style pretzel, which comes in a figure 8, along with a water ice served in the iconic 90s cup, as found at John’s Water Ice. Night two was inspired by Arctic Splash iced tea, which is sadly no longer served in cartons, and a Tastykake Butterscotch Krimpets.
