Phish Dick’s Run 2024

My stubs for Phish’s 4-night run at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO. These are the final stubs in my isometric art series that has spanned all of this year’s summer tour. I explored different types of lettering done on isometric paper and included the mountain and city space view from the venue. I created a series of ink and watercolor paintings, which were then digitally arranged to create the final image.

Each stub measures 2.75×6.5 inches (The same size as PTBM tickets) and is printed on 130lb gloss paper (slightly thicker than actual stubs), printed by Fireball Printing in Philadelphia. Joseeen.etsy.com

Phish Mondegreen 2024

My stubs for the Mondegreen Festival in Dover, DE. The art was the result of my exploration of geometric and organic shapes in my work this summer. For this, I was inspired by cubic crystals, which seem to defy nature.

I reversed it to have trees forming from the geometric shapes. I created a series of ink and watercolor paintings, which were then digitally arranged to create the final image.

Phish Bethel Woods 2024

My stubs for Bethel Woods were inspired by the campsites in the area, with a reference to Bethel’s place in rock history via the vehicles. Each one also references both an animal and a song!

Phish Grand Rapids 2024

My stubs for the Grand Rapids shows feature some of the architecture of the city, as well as a nod to the car and furniture manufacturing that took place in the past.

Phish Deer Creek 2024

For the Ruoff shows (Deer Creek to you and me) I was inspired by the song Maze, no doubt that there’s a corn maze somewhere in the vicinity! The image was painted as 2 paintings that combine to make a singular image.

Phish Saint Louis 2024

My Saint Louis ticket stubs were inspired by the songs “Meat” and “Ghost”. Both stubs include images inspired by the lyrics, along with some inspired by the city of St. Louis.

Phish Alpine Valley 2024

For the Alpine Valley run, I decided to incorporate more organic features within the geometric shapes. The objects were inspired by things I learned about Noblesville, Indiana, and the Alpine Valley itself while researching. The imagery was inked and painted on several sheets of paper, scanned, and digitally arranged to create the final images.

For Mohegan Sun I used one of my earlier isometric drawings, which also doubled as a coloring page for my students! I created 3 copies that were done in graphite and also watercolor. I ended up using the linework and digitally combined a watercolor painting I had done.
