Commissioned Setlists – 2025 in Review

As I finish off my fourth year of creating commemorative Phish ticket stubs, I still enjoy creating illustrated setlists of shows. I usually keep commissions open for setlists of past shows throughout the year, with 12 commissioned setlists created this year. These commissions allow me to take a deep dive into these shows and choose images that best suit that specific show.

Each setlist was made as a very small edition, but I may have some physical copies available, so you can send me a message via Etsy to inquire. These are also available as a digital file.

Commissioned Setlists – 2024 in Review

As I finish off my third year of creating commemorative Phish ticket stubs, I still enjoy creating illustrated setlists of shows. I usually keep commissions open for setlists of past shows throughout the year, with 9 commissioned setlists created this year. These commissions allow me to listen to shows for the first time, or revisit others. I also get to hear about someone’s first/ show, or in one case, how someone lost their glasses at a show, only for Fishman to be the one who found them!

These were made as a very small edition, but I have a few physical copies available. These are also available as a digital file.

Commissioned Setlists- 2023 in Review

2023 was a very busy year for me, my time being taken up by the Phish ticket stubs I have been creating for every show this year. I did manage to find some time to work on some illustrated setlists via commissions I took on. I have a long history with these setlists, which I started making in 2014 and created for nearly every show until 2022. At this point, including commissions, I’ve made over 340 illustrated setlists! I’ve always enjoyed making them, many actually being created while live-streaming the shows. This year I finally made the decision of retiring the illustrated setlists, but still keeping commissions open.

All setlists are available as a digital print you can download here: https://joseeen.etsy.com/listing/260299234                  I also have a very small amount of physical copies of the setlists you can order here: https://joseeen.etsy.com/listing/208027928

I currently have commissions open until I start working on Sphere stubs in early 2024. If you are interested in seeing what I have created already, I made a spreadsheet that allows you to view by year! Commissioned Setlists: 2022 in Review

This past year has been a busy one, full of new approaches to creating art inspired by Phish. As I shifted towards designing and creating ticket stubs, I eased up on creating setlist art for every show, and I began accepting more commissions to create setlist art for older shows. This was actually my busiest year, having created over 10 older setlists! I really enjoy doing these, since it gives me an opportunity to discover older shows that I may not have heard before. And of course, there’s the satisfaction of creating something to commemorate a special show to someone, be it their first, hundredth, or the show where they met that special someone!

I have very limited copies of these prints, but they are available as a digital download that you could then print yourself.

I’m also updating my shop to make it easier to find a specific show! You can now find all shows by year on the right side of the page.

The Phish Setlist Art Spreadsheet

Phish Setlist Art Spreadsheet

After years of talking about it, I recently finished creating a one-stop shop to view all my setlist art. I was inspired by the Phish Downloads Spreadsheet, which contains downloads of almost every Phish show, recorded by tapers at shows.

My spreadsheet contains every show I’ve created setlist art for since I started in 2014. I also include all the commissioned setlists for older shows (57 to date!), some of 2013 that I had done, and nearly every setlist for each showed played from 2014-2021!

Each section is listed by year and gives you an Imgur link to view the setlist art, purchase links, and a link to the setlist via Phish.net if you need help figuring it out!

Phish Las Vegas Halloween Run 2021

I’ve slowly been catching up on Fall Tour setlists! This school year has been like no other, taking up what little free time I have. I was glad to do a handful of live streams and setlists, but will be finishing up the rest soon!

ENCORE: Harry Hood
For the second set, the band’s “musical costume” was all debuted originals, performed as the invented band Sci-Fi Soldier (a 14-page comic book distributed upon entry detailed the group’s adventure to save the planet). For that set, the band performed in elaborate costumes (helmets and all), with alternate instruments (Trey on a BCR Mockingbird), each playing within a flashing/glowing shape (two circles and two squares), after descending (in the form of holograms) from the ceiling in cylinders of colored light. Knuckle Bone Broth Avenue included extended choreography by Trey and Mike. During Get More Down, matching upright geometric shapes danced around behind the band, reducing to the two circles overlapped by Egg in a Hole, which featured pyrotechnics. Before Clear Your Mind, Trey introduced the band as from the year 4680 (the total of the October 28, 2021 songs as noted during that night’s encore-ending Grind). During The 9th Cube, there were projections of donuts and turtles on a cube above the band. Fireworks rained down on the stage during The Inner Reaches of Outer. For I Am in Miami, Trey switched to an acoustic guitar and the band stood together at stage front with the four-mic a cappella setup. After the set, the band departed as holograms back up the colored tubes. The start of Harry Hood included alternate lyrics (Holy Blankenstein). Soul Planet contained Knuckle Bone Broth Avenue and Don’t Doubt Me quotes.
